Streamers For Special Dancers

This worship dance class is specially tailored for students with special needs. Students will learn how to dance with streamers, as well as learning the spiritual significance of the movements. The class is also open to students who want to explore using streamers in worship and prefer to learn at a slower pace. The class provides an integrative and supportive environment for students of varying skill levels and abilities. Instructor will evaluate placement, as appropriate.

Class Supplies:
Each student must purchase their own set of streamers.

Child length Streamer- 6'; Adult length Streamer- 8' (choose your size, need two)

Attire:
Ballet slippers (pink leather or canvas) and clothing you feel comfortable moving in.

Advanced Worship Tools

This class is for students with prior dance experience who desire to take their worship dance skills to the next level!

This term we will be learning to dance and express worship using a variety of tools, including silk veil, silk fan streamers and veil poi. We will also be learning the spiritual significance of using these tools in worship.

Class Supplies:
Each student must purchase their own silk veil, silk fan streamers, and poi (if used).
Supplies will be available for purchase through instructor, or instructor will provide information on how to order. If you have your own silk veil and fan streamers, please bring them to class.

Prerequisites:
Ballet training preferred, or other dance experience and instructor approval.

Tuition: $55 per month

Beginner Worship Tools

This class is for the adult beginner dancer who has a desire to learn how to dance as a way of expressing praise and worship the Lord. We will be focusing on learning how to use different tools, such as streamers, flags, and silk veils in praise dance, as well as the spiritual significance of the movements. This class generally does not perform in the studio recitals.

Class Supplies:
Streamers, flags and veils, etc. will be provided for use in class, although students are highly encouraged to purchase their own worship tools. Instructor will provide information on how to order supplies.
